I wish you'd make up my bed, so I can make up my mind

every so often, we are reminded of the things that we cannot have. They are blatantly placed in front of our eyes, be it an item, a heart or a skill, in all enticing glory, but we are reminded that with every appealing glace, they have to remain unclaimed. So we force ourselves to move forward, remind ourselves of the vastness and the span of other options that lie ahead. But deep down, we know that in all vastness and in all options, at this very moment however, nothing else matters more than the appeal that one thing carries.
