Is it just me

or does anyone else feel like any "wrong"-doing be excused because everything is so open to discussion and relativity?

can there no longer be any fundamental sense of right and wrong, or such a thing as moral value when certain lessons have to be learned from experience rather than prevention?

Should you have a child, would you rather them go through every dire experience in life, in hopes that there will be a lesson to learn from each experience?

What if prevention IS the only cure and a teaching experience is something that proves itself fatal?
